Utah classes have become a large business in NY state. Do yourself a favor and do some careful research before signing on.
You should try some careful research yourself. Out of the 37 states that honor the Utah Concealed Firearm Permit, the only states that distinguish between resident and non-resident are Florida, Colorado, New Hampshire, and Michigan. And for the NY resident, Michigan is a non-issue, as Michigan honors the New York State Pistol License.
NYShooter, you don't have to go any further than this very site to verify this. Use the interactive carry maps here on USACarry.com, specify your residency as New York, and add a Utah Permit.
