ERIE CO. Petition Against Long Gun Registration

There is a petition against the proposed law by Sen. Eric Adams (D-Brooklyn) His bill will require all New York State owners of long guns to register every such weapon.

Stop by the Erie County Pistol Permit booth and sign a petition against this.

NOTE: Erie County Pistol Permit has been onsite at the Hamburg Gun Shows for about a year now. If you have your permit you can buy a handgun and walk out with your purchase.

When I read his proposed law, it said "fiscal impact - none"
That would be a pretty good trick, registering all guns (that's what
it called for, even shotguns)with no cost to the State to register, maintain
the database, follow-up non renewals, etc. Must be a genius.

I bet he means the "minor administrative fees" for processing will pay for all that stuff. Typical control freak stuff.

Why can't these NYC lawmakers worry about NYC?? Every time you see these commie anti-gun laws its sponsored by a NYC lawmaker. NYC already has its own gun laws, why do they need to force their commie laws on upstate gun owners?

I live near canada, just ask them how gun registries work. No fiscal impact? I dont believe it!

What is really sad is the NYC Lawmakers represent the good people of New York City.
The people of New York City are not allowed to touch a handgun unless they have New York City Issued State License, and they don't give them out to anyone except the elite.

Point is the NYC Lawmakers force the laws that have no effect on their constituents but do affect Upstate Gun Owners.
My opinion is they do it so the Mayor will like them.
