“We are not your mom and pop police department anymore. We are in the next century. We are leading the pack,” Bloomberg said.

Because the system was co-developed by the city the NYPD will get 30 percent of the revenue that comes from selling it to other localities. WHAT!!!!!!
NYPD to get 30% of revenue sales?

What was the name of that movie where they would arrest you for a crime just before you committed it?

I have got to get the doughnut concession for the "cops" that will be watching the monitors.

We gotta coin an acronym for this beast.

Bloomberg ...... ranting lunatic that can't get his own city's crime rate down so he's going ballistic on every other law abiding resident of the State and any other state his B.S. tactics can ensnare. Sorry, guess I got a little off topic there ......

Now for a little Minority Report of my own.
This will be a section of the News papers in NYC in the not to distant future.

The NYPD has reported that there were no robberies, murders or assaults yesterday. The only activity was 933 arrests of Urban Youts for openly carrying 32oz containers of sugary drinks. However 5th Term Mayor Bloomberg's Office added that this is a 200% reduction from the same day a year ago.

At this point the Mayor announced a new initiative to reduce the number of noodles in carryout containers of Chinese restaurants.

The residents of NY City cheered in joyful adoration of their Mayor.

I thought it had passed the threshold to be called a police state long ago.
