Default Anti Gun legislator up for re-election

Michelle Schimel is an avid member of the New Yorkers against gun violence and she is speerheading the microstamping bill. She is often on the same page as Carolyn McCarthy and continues to spearhead legislation to restrict firearms in the state of ny. She is currently up for reelection. She is outspending the local republican by leaps and bounds and has signs up all over. This is an issue for all of NY state, not just the Assembly's 16th district in Great Neck. She has voted with the Democrats almost 100% of the time. If you can, please donate to https://www.citizensformitchell.com/ He was rated a B by the NYSRPA, versus an F for Ms. Schimmel. I have attached some blurbs from websites. Feel free to check them out.

Ms. Schimel has asked the Attorney General’s Office to investigate the NRA, a not-for-profit organization on the matter of spying on another not-for-profit.

New York State Assembly - Members

Assemblywoman Michelle Schimel, a board member of New Yorkers Against Gun Violence since 1994

“When a person is murdered or victimized with a firearm we want to know who fired that gun,” said Assemblywoman Michelle Schimel. “No shooter has the right to hide behind a blank shell casing.”

In April, the New York State Assembly passed Schimel’s microstamping bill, A.9819A, which requires all semiautomatic pistols manufactured or delivered to any licensed firearms dealer in the State of New York to be capable of microstamping ammunition by January 1, 2010."

Well, this being PRNY, support for gun rights is a loser. Unfortunately, she'll probably be easily reelected.
