Defensive Concepts North Carolina's mission is to deliver high value instruction in armed and unarmed defensive skills and in the fundamental principles of survival mindset. Troy Perry is the lead instructor and has been teaching the Concealed Carry Handgun Safety class for 8 years. He has nearly 15 years of OJT as a licensed Private Investigator with a heavy concentration in Executive Protection. This experience has brought him in contact with LEO, civilians and the bad guys on many occasions and it is this experience from which his students gain. Private settings are not traditional but certainly acceptable and Troy has provided concealed carry and private tutoring for businessmen and their spouses as well as notable figures in the Piedmont region of NC.

I am a custom concealed carry training instructor in North Carolina. I do not give wholesale type training. I protect your privacy by training you at a private location and using a private club range. My classes are from one to six people. I will only teach a class of more than one when the students are all members of the same group. I prefer to teach one on one to give the student the best training experience available. I provide everything for the students including ammo and a variety of guns to try. I require at least 200 rounds fired, which equates to about 2 hours at the range, to certify a student as knowledgeable and competent with a handgun. I set high standards so that you will be confident with your handgun.
I am not the cheapest and I set high expectations, but do you really want to get safety instruction from the cheapest instructor
