This is a one day class to obtain your CCW permit. Class is located in Oxford NC. Class starts at 9:00 am and ends around 6:00. You will need to bring 50 rounds of ammunition. If you do not have your own gun I can provide you with one free of charge, however you will have to pay for the ammo. Please visit the FAQ on our website for further details.

I know this is nit-picking and all, but, CCW is something you get charged with. CHP (Concealed Handgun Permit) is what NC offers to carry your handgun concealed, there is a huge difference, especially to the left and uninformed public.

remember permit or not, you cant conceal large knives, mace, brass knuckles, etc. thats why its called a CHP

So, CARRY AND CONCEAL WEAPON (CCW) or HANDGUN (CCH) is the name of the COURSE - not the permit! North Carolina Carry & Conceal instructors offer courses, not permits.

Of course, depending on where you are reading in our patchwork of laws, instructions, and materials, you can have many different terms and phrases for many things - is is a wepon, or a gun, or a handgun, etc etc etc.

Now, that is REAL nitpicking!!!

CCW is not only something you get charged with. Its a general term used for "carrying a concealed weapon".
