Unhappy 57% of NPR viewers support censorship

In White House Vs. Fox News War Of Words, Who Gets Your Vote? - The Two-Way - Breaking News, Analysis Blog : NPR

At the time of posting this, 57% of people voted for the White House.

By Mark Memmott

The stories about what the Obama White House has to say about Fox News Channel keep coming.

There was White House communications director saying telling Howard Kurtz of The Washington Post and CNN "let's not pretend they're a news network the way CNN is."

Also last week it was NPR's David Folkenflik reporting that "the White House is taking direct aim at Fox News, the news organization that is the home to the most potent collection of its conservative critics."

This week it's ABC News' Jake Tapper asking why the Obama team was treating one of the "sister organizations" so badly -- and the news that the White House had tried to block a Fox News reporter from interviewing the so-called pay czar. (After all the networks objected, the White House relented.)

The last thing anyone could ever say about NPR is that it was non or bi-partisan. It follows the lib medium of soft classical music with urbane themed stories accentuating mediocrity at its finest. Sadly, taxpayer money still funds it to some degree, the real travesty of NPR.

All that might be able to be said about Fox's exclusion and other news organizations support of them is "we hate each other, but we hate you (The White House) more ".

I think this stunt is more smoke and mirrors by the WH.

It is nothing but a diversion to take the public mind off of the real issues.

Don't be fooled!

Without taxpayer subsidies NPR would fail. As would most other liberal media organizations.

Default Hahahaha

I LOVE it.

Quote:

The White House on this one; Fox News isn't "fair and balanced." 14% (217,355 votes)

Fox News on this one; it asks questions others don't and the White House should be able to handle them. 84% (1,262,232 votes)

Neither side. They're both trying to play this "feud" to their advantage. 1% (21,238 votes)

Total Votes: 1,500,825
1.5 million votes and FOX has 1,262,232 of them!

And THEN:
Quote:
Someone named John Plotkin (who it appears MUST be an Obama lover) whines that someone (one of his 'conservative friends' sent him an e-mail, asking him to vote.
Those people who STILL believe Obama is the second coming of Christ just don't seem to get "it". What is the matter with those peoples brains that they can think that Obama is Jesus Christ? Why can't they see that he IS destroying America??

Like a person going by Parker wrote:
Quote:
-- Chuck Parker: "Conservatives should be allowed to have one Network on their side, that being FOX since the libs have ABC, CBS, NBC, CNN and MSNBC acting as unpaid mouth pieces for Obama."
Isn't THAT the truth! Everyone except Fox... Obama's mouthpiece. How sad that speaks for the media. SUPER biased.

Quote:
Many e-mailers wanted to make sure we knew that there had been an online effort, fueled by e-mail chains and blogs, among Fox News fans to "win" the poll. John Plotkin said he had received an e-mail from conservative "friends," urging that he vote in the survey. "If you think your poll results are accurate, think again," Plotkin added.
One thing that IS accurate is the fact that those 1.26 million people ARE tired of Obama destroying America.
