Heads up everyone. Take a good look at any $100 bill you receive in the near future. The easiest mistake to look for on the fake bill is the filled-in spot between the S and T on STATES. Read the flier for more info.

I received the document through a friend and the .pdf was forwarded to my friend by a banker he used to work with. The banker received it through the bank's security team, who received it from the source.

It just seems strange the 'public' doesn't seem to get to see that info.
The question is: WHY?
AND, if you go on the gov $ website, they tell you how to tell counterfeit and if you receive one, to get all the info you can from the person who passed it to you and then call the Secret Service or FBI with the info. BUT, they do NOT tell you what happens to the bill when they take it. Common sense says you are OUT $100, but they DON'T tell you that.
Screwed up government, that IS for sure.

Shoot, I haven't even seen a $100 note in so long I almost forgot who was on them. I'm one of those idiots that use debit or credit cards all the time and don't even carry cash anymore.

Keep in mind that the memo was sent to banks. I don't think the bank is going to wonder what happens to the bill when the FBI or SS takes it.
