One thing I have considered: The police will investigate anonymous tips and the Supreme Court has given them the green light to conduct searches based on such tips - unconstitutional in my opinion but since they've allowed it... Everyone living near a Muslim school, family, mosque, whatever - could drop a dime on them and say you heard they had illegal weapons or drugs. Chances are when they get raided they might. Could save the next bombing victims. You can buy cell phones with no questions and no contracts using cash for just such an occasion. Just sayin'.

They overlook another solution: These folks have paid for an education and received one, but there's no rule that says they have to either receive or accept a diploma! Just don't provide them with one...problem solved. Anyway, if you're such a ******* dumbass that it's taken you 4 years to realize the content and nature of the very thing you've been pursuing for four years, you don't deserve one. Obviously your "education" hasn't done you much good.

I don't get your point, Iceman. We can all agree that we are a nation of immigrants...that's not in question. The real crux of it is that when the Italians came over, they didn't politic to change the way we conducted our American life. When the Irish came over, they didn't politic to change the way we conducted our American life. When the Poles, the Greeks, the Jews, the Germans, the French, Swedes, Russians, etc., etc., ad nauseum...came over, they didn't politic to change the way we conducted our American life. Who are these people that we should change the way we do things to accommodate them and their "special needs"???

You can make certain assumptions about people who choose to immigrate here:

• They are coming because they want to be here more than they want to remain where they are...
• They want this because they desire to partake of the Freedoms and other benefits that America has to offer...
• They want the fruits of their labors to contribute to the growth and strengthening of their adopted homes...
• The wish to live the American lifestyle and take a shot at achieving their vision of the American Dream...

If a group of people subsequently decide they want to change our ways to suit THEIR ways, then you can scratch #1...they must like it better where they came from if they want to remold America in that image. If that's the case, why don't they just stay where they are...?? I'll tell you...

It's because we offer them the freedom to TAKE from us...our hospitality, our freedoms to live and pursue and enjoy...without the requirement that they give anything back. Welfare, health care, education...it's all available to them here, frequently at little or no cost. In other words, they are parasites...they feed off the host without providing any benefit. Another term might be 'Blood Suckers'.

You don't need a civics lesson, I'm sure, but you might want to rethink your definition of an "Immigrant"... in 'Statue of Liberty' terms, anyway.
