If those troops are members of Oathkeepers, we should be good. But, you are right, they shouldn't have to make those decisions.

Yea... Take away mans right to defend himself from those who would choose to prey on him and that's what you get. The law abiding citizens are unable to live in peace. Fear is the ruling party there and the gangs know how to enforce the laws of fear. It sure seems like the strict gun laws there are working well.
In economically difficult times such as now, city life will be that of a jungle... Let the people have the ability to protect themselves. See what happens to the crime statistic numbers. Time will tell...

You're dang right I do. Once Pandora gets out of the box (military doing domestic law enforcement), we're gonna be living in a whole different environment.

Create a crisis by taking away the means for the citizens to defend themselves then answer the crisis with a predetermined solution to the contrived crisis.

"The truth of the matter is that you do have those standby provisions, and the statutory emergency plans are there whereby you could, in the name of stopping terrorism, apprehend, invoke the military, and arrest Americans and hold them in detention camps."
    U.S. Representative Henry Gonzalez, August 29, 1994

"Today, America would be outraged if U.N. troops entered Los Angeles to restore order. Tomorrow they will be grateful! This is especially true if they were told that there were an outside threat from beyond, whether real or promulgated, that threatened our very existence. It is then that all peoples of the world will plead to deliver them from this evil. The one thing every man fears is the unknown. When presented with this scenario, individual rights will be willingly relinquished for the guarantee of their well-being granted to them by the World Government."
Dr. Henry Kissinger, Bilderberger Conference, Evians, France, 1991
By faith Noah, being warned of God of things not seen as yet, moved with fear, prepared an ark to the saving of his house;by the which he condemned the world, and became heir of the righteousness which is by faith Heb.11:7

    Unhappy Posse Comitatus, anyone?

    And thus it begins.

Smile Military could quell violence in Chicago

The military is restricted from enforcing civilian law by the Posse Comitatus Act.As has been mentioned, the military got into trouble helping county and municipal police during a hunt for a serial killer in Alabama. The city of Chicago should soon be able to come to some resolution of their restrictive gun regulations with Mayor Daley leaving office. He has definitely been against ownership/concealed weapon carry. With luck, his replacement will think and act more in accord with the citizens of Chicago .
