Wrong, archaeological evidence clearly shows millions of years, long before man.

And like I said, God is supposed to transcend time since he is omnipotent, omnipresent, and immortal.

And your newphew's story is touching, but he's the exception, not the rule. There are still millions more children who live in unforgiving circumstances beyond their control.

Do the research your time frame of millions of years ago was before many of the mountain ranges developed, the mass of land was called Pangaea, there were inland seas, swamps, planetary O2 levels were in the 26% range, if you are going to make up stuff to fit your story at least do the research.... There is a group of scientist that swear by the meteor, planet tilt, ocean slosh thing, and the time frame too...

Exception to the rule, not so much as you may think but then there are millions of people just like you not giving a damn about the kids and lending a hand to help the see how the rest of the world works and lives..... those are the kids on the streets that turn into the people you so wish were dead......
Then there are the rest that though strength of character get out of dodge, hundreds of thousands that join the military help to keep our country free, and you would have them all dead too.... again not good clear thought process on either point....

You want to do something constructive, help to save the world, be constructive, and not destructive, go join big brothers or be a scout leader and show a kid the rest of the world, but first heel theyself, learn to keep your sarcasm and BS theory's at home.

For a thread called "Calling All Christians", one wonders what the attraction would be to all these people who are obviously either Non-Christians, at best, or ANTI-Christian, at worst, that would bring them to the conversation...

...unless it's simply the opportunity to:

1. Bait the Christians on the board with their anti-Christian diatribe...

2. Create a negative, animosity-laden thread that they can point to so as to justify their contention that the communication of Christian subjects is unhealthy for the site...

3. Perhaps bait someone (or more) to lose their temper, then file a complaint to have that person ejected from the board...

4. Destroy USACarry as a viable, valuable 2nd Amendment website...

5. All of the above, or more.

We are dealing with sinister, perhaps even Diabolical forces who may, in fact, simply desire to ruin this website and the otherwise strong, friendly camaraderie it's engendered among the rest of us. Personally, I believe - Truly - that their professed interest in guns and the 2nd Amendment is nothing more than a ploy, and may veil an actual anti-gun agenda! What better way to collapse the site than by sabotage from within?

Of course, I could be wrong, and I'm not pointing to any one poster in particular...I'll let you all draw your own individual conclusions based on your observations and what you've read, here and elsewhere on this board.

How did you know? You're right. I'm very bitter about what it's done to me. I was raised Catholic, and all the boys in my youth group would go on a trip every summer. Well one summer, we were at the beach when one of the church elders asked me to accompany him into his hotel room with him. He asked me if I believed in God. I said yes. Then he asked me if I would do anything for God. I said yes. He asked if I had unfettered faith for God. I said yes. This is when he asked me to put a bandanna around my eyes and to start stripping my clothes. When I asked him why, he said I should just have faith. I was raped that night, all in the name of God.

So yes, I know what it means to have faith in something that promises "unconditional love."
