In a religious area, when the Muslims moved into Jerusalem, they built a mosque (isn't that the scent from a skunk?) on the site of Solomon's Temple.

Now, they're invading a financial area, and they want to build at the site of what, in effect was a trademark of our financial empire.

That was destroyed by Muslims attacking us in the name of their God!!! Insult to injury... Build it some other place...

I don't know what planet you're on, CW&M but... since long before 9/11/2001, there has been a religious war being waged in New York City. Just because the first bombing was unsuccessful, just because there were long periods of time where the enemy could not be seen moving, these things in no way indicate that the war was not being fought.

By weapons of excavators and contract law it may be waged at the moment, but make no mistake that the swords, and the guns, and the bombs are not waiting in the wings in old New Amsterdam.

Look up how many Christian sites have been overtaken by the "religion of Peace". One of the most beautiful Byzantine sites is now a Mosque that OBAMA visited on his trip to the Mid-East. Being offensive to other Faith communities seems to be their norm.
