I'm guessing that's a move you're unlikely to regret.![]()
My good folks of USA Carry, I am officially announcing that I am moving from the repressive, "anti" EVERYTHING city of New York, where the criminials "roam free" in our Republic of Bloomberg.
I am heading to South Eastern Pennsylvania!! WOW! I feel like I am on the Mayflower, but I am very concerned and worried that Michael Rubens Bloomberg will attempt to "ASSASSINATE" me and take away my (god given rights to bear arms) guns. I am very very very worried, because we all know like Bloomberg and Daley, they will do everything in their power to strip you of ANY rights owed you and make you submit to them, because, not only are they above the LAW, but they are above our unalienable rights! GOD HELP US ALL!!

Well if the move is into Philly there might not be much of an improvement. Most other places it is mostly good.![]()

You will be back. We all come back.
You will have to leave your new firearms collection at home though.
I made the move from NYC almost 13 years ago... I haven't been sorry yet...
My wife (who is from NYC) talks about how great it is (once in a while) then she goes to visit and sits in traffic and dodges pot holes and pays $100 to cross a bridge (OK, it probably isn't that much) and comes back glad that she doesn't live there anymore... Oh yeah.. Now she gets to leave her P238 at home when she goes too..
I will tell you though.. IF you were raised there, it takes a LONG time to get all that 'That's how it's done in NY" out of your mind.. I've got a friend that was raised in Brooklyn, and has been in Florida about 8 years now and he now carry's here in Florida. He still comes up with the damnedest ideas about what he can't do.. Then I remind him that he is NOT in NY any more and is living in the land of the free..
Congrats on the move.. Look forward, and don't look back.. IF you do look back, You might turn into a pillar of Salt...
Hey, it could happen.. Bloomberg is still mayor, right??

Was born in NY edge of the city. Moved to MA. Yea, freedom here is an illusion that keeps morphing thanks to the socialist democraps in power for now...
I visit upstate NY to see family. Love that area. I have been to the city... Uh, No thanks...
My cousin was teaching in the city and she has had enough.
Good move and good luck...
Peace...
You can give peace a chance alright..
I'll seek cover in case it goes badly..
I miss NYC, mostly I miss my friends, and my family there. For anyone offended by this video, fuhgitaboutit.

That is where I grew up. Springfield. You will like it there, great people. However, I was 23 when I moved and that was 1988. Lots of hunters back then, but in 22 years things might have changed, hopefull not for your sake.
Great schools if you have kids. At least back then.
