I'm almost convinced that the reason Daley is "stepping down" is because he was promised a position somewhere...specifically so that Rahm can take the Mayor-ship.

If the price is right! Coruption in Chicago is a Daly concern. Ruby Ridge sniper Lon Horuchi makes the CPD use of force policy look somewhat reasonable. They want to call in the National Guard to establish a military dictartorship.
If the Democrats could clone Sadame Husain, they'd want him as dictator of Chicago. After all, that man realy put the **** in dictatorship. (Sorry for the phallic pun.)
