    Default NYS Armed Guard re-cert question

    Not sure if this is the right place for this or not, but here goes:

    I got my armed guard card after taking the 47 hour course back in october. My unarmed license expires in june. When my armed card came, it says it expires in june instead of october. Is that just a typo or do I really get shorted that 4 months before re-qualifying? If anyone has any info or a number I can call, it'd be a great help!

    NYS requires a licence for being a "mall-ninja"? Do they offer a sheepdog class as well?

    Yeah, my Border Collie had to take it to get a license.
