Default There are ways to protect yourself without a gun

I guess you don't always have to have a gun to protect yourself from attackers. An 83 year old woman prevented her purse from being snatched. This is great and since it all worked out ok for her it is quit humorous. :D

"Firearms stand next in importance to the Constitution itself. They are the American people's liberty teeth and keystone under independence ... From the hour the Pilgrims landed, to the present day, events, occurrences, and tendencies prove that to insure peace, security and happiness, the rifle and pistol are equally indispensable . . . the very atmosphere of firearms everywhere restrains evil interference - they deserve a place of honor with all that is good" (George Washington)

    I liked this particular passage:

"My son said, `Why didn't you just give (the purse) up?'" Garcia said. "`Hell no,' I told him. That was my purse. I was fighting for what was mine."

Damn straight! I wish the other sheeples would wake up and stop giving in to the bad guys. Maybe then they would see things our way.
