Default Health Insurance Survey Targets Gun Owners

Don't be too concerned yet, Oregon state Senator Ted Ferrioli put them in their place but be aware other companies may follow and who knows we might find it on job applications as another way to discriminate

No different than Geico asking if you own a radar detector. I told them I didn't when I was comparing rates. They were almost $600 more per 6 months when I checked. 15 minutes of wasted time.

Insurance companies are the mafia of the millenium and the denial is the "smart-bomb" of cost containment.

Some years back I founded a company that handled clinical appeals of medical care denied or delayed by health insurance companies (eHealthAppeals). Some of the cases absolutely made me sick. For example a child being denied a cardiac procedure where the family is told since the surgery has about a 5% chance of saving the child it is not medically necessary. BTW, that child is now a teenager and that insurance company was fined $75K. Here's some stats to make you sick courtesy of the Henry J. Kaiser Foundation and Harvard Law.

    - 43,000 people per day are denied medically necessary care in the U.S.
    - 10,000 people per day must change doctors due to a change in the health plan.
    - More than 50% of all bankrupcy in America is due to a disasterous medical bill. Most of these people had health insurance.

So when Obama says his goal is to provide health insurance to every person in America it does not translate into health care services. Obamacare must be defeated.

The insurance industry is nothing short of a pyramid scheme. Never give them anything as the purpose of any information is to use it against you. Lie to them, cheat them and fight them tooth and nail.
