As far as huge...I didn't know if my first 4.3 in screen was going to be too big...I will never go back now...its too awesome
I use a MacBook Pro, Apple TV, Apple's Airport Express, an iPhone, and an iPad. In my case, the integration of all my devices is seamless. However, for those who don't use other Apple products, the Android looks like an excellent choice as well.

I carry my iPhone in my pocket and have a little trouble holding on to it because it's so thin. I found a "rubberized" jacket that makes it somewhat more difficult to remove from the pocket, but gives me a better grip on it. (It's hell to get old. LOL)

Couple of months ago my wife and I got our first smart phones. Had been waiting for sprint to come out with the iPhone. After doing some research and taking to different folks I decided to get the iPhone for my wife and I got the Motorola photon. After two months and having used both phones I have to a say I am so glad I chose the Android phone. At this point I can't see myself ever going with an iPhone . Just too bad I waited all these years for sprint to get the iPhone and ended up not getting it . I should have gone with the Android years ago. Oh well, I'm happy now...lol. ..

I just got the iPhone4. My wife has a Droid. I have been a Blackberry user for years and when I finally made the switch I wanted to hate the iPhone. I still want to hate it.... but damn it, I don't. It is great. My wife is counting the days to switch to a iPhone from her Droid. That being said.... go to the store and work with each. Most have a 30 day return, so try it out.

I have had several android phones. Had the ally, Eris, droid 1, and galaxy s. now I have an iPhone 4 now and love it. As a machine iPhone hands down. Apps are about the same. Customization android is where it's at. I like apple better though. My .02 wooden cents worth. But just like a gun. In the end it's all up to you.

Well now that I've used my iPhone 4 for a few weeks now I would have to say my criticism is not nearly as harsh as my rash review after only two days use lol , I still say that I like the android slightly better.

I've had my Android for about 5 days now and I love it. It's usually the other way around for me - I'll find all sorts of things I hate about a phone and then eventually I'll end up tolerating it. My only complaint about my Droid vs my old phone is that it doesn't have the little green alert light that lets me know I've had activity on my phone at a glance. Other than that it's outstanding, especially the 4G. I'm pretty familiar with iPhones since a number of my firends have them and they're nice phones but I have a problem with Apple's reliance on proprietary software, especially iTunes (which I don't have nor do I need). I'm something of an audiophile and I use my phone as an MP3 player quite often (at the gym, doing outdoor cardio, doing yardwork, at the beach, etc., etc.). I know that iPhones can be converted to play other music formats but I've heard it's a pain.

I know this is going to sound petty (hey...I'm only human!) but I've come across enough Apple-snobs to have it be a bit of a turnoff for me, so unless one of their products was head and shoulders above the rest in terms of what I'm looking for, It's gonna be a strike against them. (I love the Samsung commercials that poke fun at the the Apple fans waiting in line..."I could never use a Samsung.....I'm creative").

I used Blackberrys for years when I needed world phone capability and only VZW had good coverage where I was stationed. I deployed with an iPod Touch third gen. My favorite apps was Amazon's Kindle. Life with Army means lots of hurry up and wait. Being able to have my choice books that fit in shirt pocket under my body armor was priceless. Way easier to travel around the world that with dozen or so paperbacks. Anyway after I retired and didn't need world phone any more I got and HTC Thunderbolt. Sure it had some growing pains at first, but those have been fixed for a long while. I haven't rooted yet. Even without anything I don't like I can replace. Keyboard was among the first thing I replaced. Would love to replace the one on iPod, but it's locked down. Android has widgets... love them means I don't have to open some apps to get the info I want. I have them for weather, news, battery (MA,MV, time left and %). My iPod has nothing like it. Live wallpapers are pretty cool, I prefer weather radar as mine. So far as battery life iOS 5 has really hurt my iPod. Use to be able to go 4-5 days with medium use (aka no gaming). After iOS 5.01 it will drop to under 20% in less than 18 hours. That's about 50% better than the 5.0's battery life. Anyway I prefer Android because I can modify it. I do the same with my firearms, car(s) and truck(s). Nothing in my inventory is stock. I change out sites, stocks, springs, etc, etc.... Nothing is unidentifiable, I don't do huge changes. Just subtle changes that make each 100% mine while not being unrecognizable. I blame it on the fist car I bought after entering service. It was a white 1979 Toyota Celica after getting stationed in Japan. I parked it a couple of rows from my barracks. I was the only one in that row when I went in for the night. In the morning I found every car in the row was white Toyota Celica of the same body style. I didn't know my plate number..... Nothing like that has ever happened to me again ;)
