Is that good or bad? At least you have 4 hours now to go on a leisurely drink at a pub after work, so that must good...

In NYS its no beer or liquor till 12 noon on sundays, our bars are open till 4am daily. Most liquor stores are not open Sundays but I think they can be...I think the rule is they can only be open 6 days a week so most are closed on Sunday. I am not a big drinker so, I could be wrong. We also sell beer and wine in grocery stores and pretty much every other place including gas stations.

Living in Vegas, I have no such worries. I have seen bars advertising happy hour from 2-6...am.
Many bars are open 24/7 and you can buy from the c-stores or groceries 24/7 also.
All of which is probably why I have seen people failing field sobriety testing while I am driving to work around 7:30 am

In Texas, you cannot buy any hard liquor on Sundays, beer and wine sales after noon.

I think minnesota has the weird titla on this, in gas stations and grocery store we can only by 3.2% beer. And no off sale on sundays except golf couses. I figure the law maker golf sunday mornings too.

Same in Florida. Not too long ago (in my years) Pa had what was known as the Blue Law prohibiting the sale of booze on Sundays and after midnight on Saturdays. Remnants of prohibition I suspect, or something to do with Church. Funny thing tho, the Church served wine at every service. LOL
