Body count. In the last six months 292 killed (murdered) in Chicago, 221killed in Iraq
Sens. Barack Obama & Dick Durbin, Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr., Gov. Rod Blogojevich, House leader Mike Madigan, Atty. Gen. Lisa Madigan (daughter of Mike), Mayor Richard M. Daley (son of former Mayor Richard J. Daley)... the leadership in Illinois... all Democrats.
Chicago is a combat zone. Of course they're all blaming each other.
Can't blame Republicans, there aren't any!
State pension fund $44 Billion in debt, worst in country. Cook County (Chicago) sales tax 10.25% highest in country. (Look'em up if you want). Chicago school system one of the worst in country.
This is the political culture that Obama comes from in Illinois. He's gonna' "fix" Washington politics?

In Obama's defense, he's represented the Chicago area in the Illinois legislature, but has never served in an elected office in the city or in Çook County.

As for Daley and Blagojevich, what did you expect? Furthermore, the handgun ban does not apply to judges, lawyers, and prosecutors.

Every law abiding citizen should have the same rights as every other. Judges are no different.

When the poor learn that they can vote a raise for them self the republic is gone.Obama my not have been in office there but he has taken many a pay off from there.

You're right. We need to tell that to the powers that be in PRHI, PRNYC, and PRNJ and tell them that the average Joe is no different than those who are rich or politically connected.

hearing news from germany that obama is getting further ahead of mccain.. if he gets in that's gonna be so bad for our country as we know it
