 The United States Economy is continuing its freefall What I find amazing about the now infamous bailout is the belief among those who voted that it is the cure all for what ails the economy. Throwing some money at the problem to fix it is like removing guns from the home of a suicidal person, meaning that neither fixes what is actually wrong. Throwing money at the problem does no good if people continue getting mortgages they can't afford to pay back, among other things. News On top of all this, the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost another 7% of its value today, bringing it down to below 9,000 for the first time since 2003.  |
