| I agree with this guy...people complain an awful lot, when there's really not that much to whine about. We should be happy we're alive at all. Shoes are a big plus - lots of people don't have them. When was the last time you were thankful for being able to wear shoes - or for having feet to put them on? The vast majority of humans have spent most of their lives doing hard labor, never having enough to eat, dying before the age of 70 and living in a highly structured system that gave them few, if any personal and civil liberties. We, on the other hand, enjoy literally thousands of luxuries every day and usually take them completely for granted. That starts in the morning, when we can wake up alive, not eaten by predators lurking in the darkness.

| that's why I think everything would be just fine if we didn't have the stupid media telling us how "bad" things are every 5 seconds. people would actually live. but yes even though times may be "bad" most americans still have no idea how good they have it.
