Default Back from what felt like the dead...

    Hey ya'll,

I've been rather absent lately - I've been laid up with back problems, and last week I had open back surgery. I am, after a year of pain, the last 3 months of which have been crippling, am recovering, and ALL my prior pain is GONE!!! I have, of course, the surgery pain, but wow - it's so nice to be better!

So, I'm laying here, laptop handy, and am catching up on many un-read posts.... Anything big happen in the past month I missed?

    Great to be back,

    Danno

    Default Welcome Back!

Welcome back and I'm praying for your speedy and complete recovery!

Not sure how long you've been out of the loop but check this out:

America elected a Kenyan socialist as our president.
The Red Wings did NOT win the cup.
The Lakers DID win another title.
Shaq went to the Cavs so they can lose some more with an old big guy.
Michael Jackson, Farrah and Billy Mays are all dead.
And as soon as the Gov of AZ signs off on it, AZ residents can CC in establishments that serve alcohol for consumption on the premises!

Take care and heal up soon - there's shooting to be done!

Welcome back, Danno! I was wondering where you went. I'm glad you are doing better. There is nothing worse than back pain. I know where you are coming from. I live with back pain and neuropathy from spinal cord surgery. Just take it easy and don't rush anything.

Thanks ya'll - yeah I tell ya - I missed a lot! This recovery is going to be about 6 months long, and I'll never be able to lift anything over 15 lbs. That sucks, but hey, I'd rather be pain free! :)

Just take it easy and receive the healing... and don't get too wrapped around the axle with what doctors say.

"They" told Rocky Blier he'd never walk again after being shot in the legs in Viet Nam, and that guy played in (and won) a couple Super Bowls!

Great to have you back, and experiencing relief from the pain. Hang tough, brother! Have a great 4th of July ~

Glad you are back and feeling better. I pray a speedy recovery so that you can get back to a more normal life. Hang in there.

Other than the nation rapidly spiralling down the toilet into socialism, and more of us becoming right-wing extremists, no, nothing significant.

Praying for your rapid recovery. Ain't it great to know you will not have that pain again?
