Could it be that she thought you were asking about a "Driver's License"?
I called the Ohio Attorney General office this week and asked some questions about my Ohio license and my Arizona residential license. The lady I talked to told me that ohio is different and when I recieve my Arizona license I would have to turn my ohio license in. I ask why, she said Ohio dosent allow anyone to have a second license, she took me completely off guard, I usually would ask how she knows this and what area in the rules its in but I didnt.
I explained to her that I have friends in Ohio with more than one license and I asked, are they in violation? she said yes. I told her that I had never heard of this before and she said she would have a supervisor contact me and i'm still waiting. I called the sheriffs office and asked the women who takes care of the CCW stuff and she was equally confused, I told her when I find out from the OAG office I would call her with the details.
I know this is probably BS, but anyone else have problems with the OAG office?

Ohio's license is for residents only. When you became an AZ resident, your Ohio license became invalid. You are supposed to notify the issuing Sheriff that you moved.
2923.126: Duties of licensed individual - The licensee shall give notice of any change in the licensee’s residence address to the sheriff who issued the license within forty-five days after that change.
There is no penalty for not notifying the Sheriff.
Having an Ohio resident CHL and other states' "non-resident" licenses is OK.
I told the lady at the OAG office it was a CCW and I did notify the Sheriffs off that I had moved (it was a bit past the 45 days) but she did tell me I was ok to use my ohio license. Her thing was that Ohio does not issue a license but since I got it as a resident I was ok.

now that DeWine is in office and Kasich, whats going to happen to the Ohio CCW laws and right to carry? I'm a part time resident of Arizona and Ohio (because of my family being in Ohio) I worry about Ohio gun rights. I voted in Arizona but whats going to happen to Ohio and the 2 senate bills that haven't passed yet?
