You can open carry at 18 without a permit in Michigan. However, note that you can't open carry in your vehicle without a permit. Detroit is generally a pro-sheep city, so be careful OC-ing there.

Let me put it this way, Open carry without a CPL is legal in Michigan. Whether you can do it, and not get hassled in Detroit, is another question entirely.

See I can be hassled in Detroit just like any other city here in Michigan so I don't see what differance it would make.

Well, the difference is, I think you're more likely to get hassled in Detroit, than any other city in Michigan. I've never been bothered in Lansing, myself. To a large part, it depends a lot on the attitude of the police in that town, from the lowest patrol officer, right up to the chief.

Well I understand where your coming from but the only time i was bothered out side of Detroit. Maybe because I'm black but I hope that was not the case
