Open carried in PA over Christmas

I took a trip from my home in FL to Pittsburgh PA to visit family and friends for Christmas.
While I was there, I open carried all over the city without incident. I was expecting to get some attention from the law, but there was not one single problem. I carried in rest areas, diners, and even a bank to cash a check. Nobody freaked out and I met no LE at all.
I can't wait for FL to reinstate open carry

Isn't it amazing how none of the things that anti-OC diehards say would happen never does? There wasn't soccer moms freaking out, or if they did, 911 ignored them, criminals didn't shoot you first because they saw your gun. 95% of the public probably did not even notice your gun.

Probably the biggest incident you might face would be the concealed carriers who would berate you for your method of carry. No one else seems to care, has been my experience.

INTRODUCTION

§ 6109. Licenses.
(a) Purpose of license.—A license to carry a firearm shall be for the purpose of carrying a
firearm concealed on or about one's person or in a vehicle throughout this Commonwealth.

(b) Place of application.-An individual who is 21 years of age or older may apply to a sheriff
for a license to carry a firearm concealed on or about his person or in a vehicle within this
Commonwealth. If the applicant is a resident of this Commonwealth, he shall make application
with the sheriff of the county in which he resides or, if a resident of a city of the first class, with the
chief of police of that city.
