my question is can a non-resident of NC open carry? or does he need a ccw from his own state and then NC will acknowledge

Hi I am new here and after some searching around still haven't found the answer to this. Can some one from out of state(WI) open carry in MI? More specifically to camp grounds/while hiking up in Lake of The Clouds area and places like that.

I haven't stopped thinking about this, If you get an out of state carry license like I suggest on page 1 and have a good Michigan friend who owns a pistol you would be legal to oc it.
