Same logic was put into place in 1934 by the enactment of the NFA. Let's put a special tax on things so that the average law-abiding citizen has a difficult time obtaining firearms. Guess what? It never worked and we still have issues with criminals having these firearms 77 years later. Guess what California? Outlaw firearms and only outlaws have them. Not one single person involved in criminal organizations cares what stupid and pointless laws you pass in California or any other state. We need to stand as a nation against the tyrranical rules that our states are imposing on us.
