Default Looking to make a move to Texas

Within the next year I am planning to move to Texas from the super restricted California. My question is what are the rules regarding firearms? I know that things are very liberal there but what about open carry, concelealed carry, 50 cal and automatic weapons.
    Thanks

Texas is a fairly restrictive state regarding carrying firearms. You have to pay the state for a permit to carry a concealed handgun, after paying for training, and open carry is generally illegal. No .50 Caliber limits. Automatic firearms are fine. Fully automatic firearms require the Federal tax stamp.

You can keep a loaded handgun concealed in your car without a license, though.

Welcome to Texas. I have a Texas ccw.
As long as you are not prohibited from owning a gun, you may carry concealed in your vehicle and it is legal as long as you have not committed a class b or a misdemenor. A class c violation (mostly traffic violations)
When I say committed those violations, they are not stopping you for them or find drugs in your vehicle that are class a or b violations.
is ok. You are not required to say that you have a firearm in your vehicle. There is no open carry in Texas.
As for the other questions, I can not answer them. I am not an attorney.

Texas is a shall issue state. If you are not disqualified for some legal reason, you must be issued a license. You must be a resident of Texas for at least 6 months.

Actually they removed the six month residency requirement.

Is it a sign that the two answers from Texas have such poor grammar and sentence structure as to be almost incoherent?

Not sure if it is Washington DC or Washington State, but is it a sign that a person with poor grammer does not have the right to speak in Washington. I am pretty sure I woke up this morning under the US flag.

Howdy from the great state of Texas!
I am not proud to say this, but I am also a native from that land of fruitcakes and nutjobs (California). My family and I moved to Texas for numerous reasons. One of the reasons was to get the hell away from many of their ignorant Anti-2nd Amendment laws.

If you are not a far left leaning LibTarded nutjob with a socialist mindset, then 'Welcome to Texas' .

However, If you are some sort of a LibTarded (Nancy Pelosi liking) nutjob, then please stay the hell out of the greatest state in the Union.

Texans don't take too kindly to those few mentally challenged LibTarded Morons who are allready living out here.
