Default How Many Of You Open Carry?

Just wondering how many of you here carry openly, either because you don't have a CCW permit, (or do have one, and just choose to OC anyway), or just because that's how you prefer to carry. I am a security oficer, and the only time I ever OC is when I'm working.

It is legal here but I never carry open. I'd rather people NOT know that I have a gun.

I'd much rather keep my tactical advantage. ;)

I wouldn't if I could .. and maybe I can, but I don't want to even if I can. I'd just as soon only I know I have my weapon, you lose your advantage if it's visible to the bad guys..

I like the *idea* of open carry, but tactically it makes no sense at all.

My wife doesn't even know I carry (afaik). Yes, she's this unobservant. This is one of the reasons I carry.

Wouldn't it be funny if she was carrying too and you didn't know? :)

Default Open carry is legal in Clark County...

...but I hear if you do, you can get charged with disturbing the peace and a visit from the local police - who will probably confiscate your gun just to make sure it's clean! Don't think it's a good idea any way you look at it.

TN does allow open carry with a handgun permit. I have to agree with others, however, I would prefer noone knew I was carrying. It's not really that hard to conceal even a fairly large handgun. I carry a Ruger p345. The grip prints occasionally, but I don't think anyone is thinking He has a gun.
