Default Motorcycle Carry

I'll be traveling through Clark County, NV via motorcycle, making a short visit in Las Vegas. Since I don't have a trunk, does anyone know the rules for keeping a pistol (loaded or unloaded) in the saddle bag? I plan to open carry through NV, but am sure the weapon will not be welcome where I plan to stop.

This may be better answered if you try posting in the Nevada-specific forum or the one on Travel. They would be more knowledgeable on NV law than the rest of us...
