Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) proudly boasts that the House Version of H.R. 3962 (http://docs.house.gov/rules/health/111_ahcaa.pdf) would be and was available online for at least 72 hours prior to any vote; she conveniently omitted the fact that the version they actually voted on with amendments was not available online at all prior to the actual vote...
If there are any Conservatives left in San Francisco (Pelosi's District), Unite in mass and FIRE THIS WRETCH NEXT YEAR...

Problem is we have no fricking idea what the Senate version really looks like, because Sell-Out Prince Harry Reid, is only allowing Liberal Democrats in the closed door negotiations of the Senate Version of ObamaCare, and refuses to even allow the media in the same hallway as the closed door session is...

So let me get this straight, 300 million Americans are being represented by 60% of the U.S. Senate on the most offensive piece of Legislation in U.S. History...

That alone has to be unconstitutional...

Or how about the 250,000 fine and 5 years (amended to be now 10 years) in Prison in the House Version of ObamaCare for not having it...
Gee, where in the Constitution, does it state that you have to buy something as a Condition of your Citizenship...

Not withstanding, that nowhere in the Constitution is the Federal Government granted any kind of power to impose, regulate, etc., health care.

Or any other entitlement or free s*it...

Free Health Care is not a Right...

Liberal Democrat Senators in the Closed Door Negotiations are saying it will be a done deal before Christmas...

Other Liberal Democrats appeared gleefully on the news last night boasting "WE WILL HAVE NATIONAL HEALTH CARE BY THE END OF THE YEAR"...

You know what that means, its going to be attempt to be passed in the middle of the night without a recorded voice vote, while everybody is on holiday, except one Representative from each party whom will simply state with no cameras rolling as they have so many times in the past...

How can we stop it?

The best suggestions I have seen so far is to get in your representatives face, so they can not possibly miss you, line up in front of their local offices in your home towns and in front of the Senate in D.C., AND call, fax their local & D.C. offices daily, relentlessly till ObamaCare is Dead, Dead, Dead...

Could they be more vague?

IF their attempt was to obfuscate the tax increases and cannibalization of existing medicare & medicare programs, they succeeded...

Any version of government controlled health care, whether Senate or House, must be fought. They will try to push through the process and get the bill voted in before the 2010 elections. Fortunately both Georgia Senators are Republican and will vote against the bill. Everyone needs to stress to all Senators, Democrat or Republican, that voting for this bill is a career ender.

What scares me is how much damage these,,, what's the word, proposals will do to this country? How many jobs will be lost? How many lifes will this cost? How many families will go bankrupt because their tax liability has increased? How hard will this be to repair? How long will it take for the SCOTUS to take up the constitutionality of these things?

I sent a couple of these questions to our notso-dynamic dual today...

Healthcare bill taxes

When polling Americans about healthcare, there are ways to get two very different answers to the same question. If you ask people “should everyone be required to have healthcare?” the answer comes back 67% yes, 27% no. But, when the question is rephrased to "should we require everybody to carry insurance, or face a federal penalty?” it flips and 64% say no, and 28% yes. Perhaps if the media would bother reporting on all of the new taxes this plan carries with it, support would dip even lower?
