yesterday, the phone rang. When I answered, this voice said, "Hello, Mrs. ___. I'm calling you today to talk about a better road to healthcare reform". That's as far as they got, because my immediate response was, "I'm so sick of what's going on in Washington right now, that I don't even want to talk about it" and hung up.

Guess I'm reaching the "don't mess with me" stage.

Now George Soros is another subject entirely. He's evil and I wouldn't be afraid to bet that the average American has no clue who he is and his personal history of causing economic chaos around the world.

I would have played a little confused and "can you help me to understand" card..

So tell me about the real reform in this bill....

gee, if we are going to cover all these new people.. they are probably going to go to the doctor, since they haven't for a while and the doctors of course will ask for some testing.. Hummm that sounds like a rush of new bills to be paid.. Hummm where is all that $$$ going to come from??

There are a lot of people that feel strongly about their tax $$$ going to fund abortions.. I'm not going to have to pay to kill babies.. am I???? President Obama in his state of the Union address said that abortion would NOT be a part of this package... Oh, I just couldn't be a part of killing babies... There is no abortion funding in any version of this bill, IS THERE???
Because of the set-up, they will say NO there is no abortion funding.. Something like "OH, NO there is no abortion funding"... Then say.. Well, I was just trying to understand this complex bill, so I was reading this newspaper article, and it says the Senate is including abortion funding in their version of the bill.. So, now I'm really confused.. I don't know who I can trust NOT TO LIE TO ME.. Is it the president and you, or is it the free press??? Which is it?? Please tell me!!!

The abortion movement is fundamentally the same object as "Hitler's final solution" except they are getting people to voluntarily exterminate their own racial group.

My Libertarian principle tells me that the whole issue of random abortion IS a subject for individual families and doctors.

But with government funding it become a political power structure that is predominately aimed at the poor, and poorly educated, black babies. And the slick sales pitch actually has them voting for more racial extermination.

Oh, well, at least we are not in China where the government makes you have only one.

+1 I must admit this is beautiful...I must try to remember it so I will write this one down and stick it near my kitchen phone...When someone who evidently do not know me calls, I always pick up the phone and put it back in its rocker as soon as possible. BUT when it is an advertiser/salesperson, it is another story -- I let the person talk his/her way a good while after I put the speaker on then when s/he finishes I will begin with ...You know, mate, I symphatize with you. You obviously wanted to sell me something but my husband is retired and we are now on fixed income and I had just been retrenched from my job. i wish I can help you but I can't. I will never hear from that company again... Ya gotta be creative...

Although, We really need to be answering the phone when they call asking about ObamaCare and the rest of the Messiah's Socialist agenda...

All the major pollsters such as Gallup, Rasmussen, etc., only call publicly listed numbers at random and seldom leave messages for you to call back...
And seldom show up on the caller id as anything other then unknown or some 800 number without a name...

I for one am tired of ObamaLove poll results from the SEIU/ACORN/George Soros phone banks...
