GF, JJF Good Talkin'.. But what bothers me about this is somebody having a knee jerk reaction and try to curtail our 1A rights in the name of national serurity. The Patroit Act certain infringed on our rights in what the 5th, 10th and 14th? What is or who is going to be able to stand up to law makers who are reacting from fear. With the Ft Hood tragedy and the DTW/Northwest failed attempt, people are going to be quick to react to anything that sounds ominous.

It was an "unarmed" AT-4 this time. The next time we won't be so lucky and it's unfortunate, but I'm afraid the "next time" will include several citizens getting hurt.

For those of us that got out of the military in the last few years; it is a fair statement to say that in regards to the AT4 we were taught/told that it is not re-loadable and that nobody can get ammo/rockets for it, even members of the military...

For those of us with over a double digit IQ and to paraphrase Billary Clinton...
That would require the willful suspension of logic or disbelief...

It should also be noted that there are also re-loadable training versions of the AT4 which fire various projectiles...

In my view having a so-called inert rocket launcher or a fully functional one for that matter falls well within ones Second Amendment rights and other rights to be able to defend ones life, that of his friends, family, neighbors, etc., by any means necessary, using equal or greater force than that which may be brought against him/her; against all enemies foreign or domestic including but not limited to the tyranny of our own Socialist Government...

What I have a huge problem with is the fact that an individual of likely middle-eastern descent stored said rocket launcher (inert or otherwise) in a place he did not reside with clear terrorist sympathizer materials; was arrested & charged and convicted of a domestic violence charge (which keeps you from even buying or possessing a firearm/weapon legally) AND we have yet to hear the slightest mention of this on the national media thus far that I have been able to find...

It is further interesting to note that the local TV station reporting the story in Houston is a CNN affiliate...

Also, I have to point out that one of the biggest myths that is being purported on us is the value of profiling individuals of Muslim faith or visual and racial or even state-sponsors of terror country identification...
Heck the U.S. has over a million Muslims alone, and London, England now has a Muslim Majority population...
There are over a billion Muslims on the planet, and they all do not look or sound like the guy at the quickie mart on the Simpsons...
There are a plethora of fair-skinned, fair-eyed, fair-haired Muslims that would not be given a second look...

Another myth is that spending all this money on these so-called full body scanners, puffer machines, clothing swab inspections would have prevented the underwear bomber or the sneaker bomber from even getting on the plane; got a news flash for you FALSE again, for your own edification do some personal research on PETN...

Like the rest of this Socialist Administrations tax & spend and entitlement agenda, it is to give the illusion that they are actually doing something tangible...

Am I the only one. who thinks checking/searching individuals and their baggage etc., before they get on the plane, but after they are already in the middle of a butt-to-belly button crowd in the middle of an airport is too late?

Once again, we need to ask the question, WHY is Israel the only Country on the planet that has never had a successful hijacking, or passenger plane bombed, or attempted to be bombed...

Have we forgotten Osama Bin Laden's statement in a ABC interview; that there is nothing more important that a Muslim can do than kill an American or Jew anywhere on earth, by any means necessary, making no distinction between men, women, children, old or infirm.

One thing we must not do is allow some radical expansion of the Patriot Act or some other so-called public safety measure at the loss of personal freedoms.
