ask questions about anyone running for office

just got back from a campain rally for someone running for sherrif here in independence county, Arkansas. i had talked to this man on the phone and asked where he stood on the constitution and bill of rights and he had all the right answers. but tonight when i asked if he would enforce a order to disarm american citizens, he said that he would have to as the goverment did not have the man power to do so. i told him that i had taken an oath when i went in the army and that pledge did not expire when my service ended and that to confiscate weapons were against the constitution and bill of rights and as such was an illeagle order! needless to say this man i will do all in my power to see he does not get elected! i will not go against my oath to support the constitution against all enemy's foriegn and domestic, i feel in my heart of hearts this man falls into the domestic enemy's classification!

Dang straight, OV, that's a perfect question for someone running for a high LE position. His answer distresses me to no end. Well, if he's elected and the SHTF, at least you'll know one LEO to look out for.

This guy is a closet Socialist. I can't stand the jerks that do what ever they are told without asking if it is right.
You are correct to see to it that he does not get into office. He will be nothing but trouble for his constituents. It sounds like he will be on a power trip because he does not understand or know the most fundamental laws of the land. His failure to understand the constitution pretty much says it all.

Anyone, Sherrif, soldier, law enforcement etc worth their salt would part with his or her badge before disarming the american public via an congressional mandate to confiscate firearms, of any type, for the sole purpose of disarming the populace fo the United States of America.

God help us if it ever comes to that. I will not under any circumstances simply hand in firearms when the government decides to run amuck of the Bill of Rights.
