Default Our gift to you...Scott Brown

I am happy to give my country the gift of Scott Brown. He is a friend of the 2nd Ammendment and A rated by the NRA. I find it so ironic that Teddy Kennedy, an enemy of the 2nd Ammendment and the constitution and the most liberal Senator, from one of the most liberal states.....has been replaced by Scott Brown! I'm still jumping up and down!

I'll be careful here with this next statement so just read it for what it is, a statement of fact.
If ever there was an American politician who had a good reason to fear men with guns it would be Ted Kennedy.
    Now with that typed...
He must be rolling in his casket. All things come to an end and rightfully so...

Scott is indeed a friend of the US Constitution and the Amendments to it. There is hope to undo some of the damage...

I am so glad he one. anyone hearing now the BS that has been coming out of obama's mouth now? 1. no health care bill should be rushed through and passed before scott brown is sworn in. 2. he thinks one of his biggest mistakes in his first year in the white house is NOT talking to the american people enough. 3. his reason for not talking to the american people enough is because he was too busy "getting stuff done". not sure yet if he is just trying to tone it down a bit because obviously brown being elected was a huge message from we the people in mass. just waiting to see what dirty plan he has next though.

didn't mean to take anything away from this thread. I am very happy scott brown won and I hope he can do some real good as a patriot.

I am glad many people are talking about Scott Brown as a "conservative", not a "Republican". There are many socialist/progressives in both parties and we are going to have to proudly declare ourselves as "independents" at the voting booth if we really plan to change our country's leadership. This is what I love about the people of MA. It was almost as if they collectively said "heck no, we are not voting Democrat or a Republican, we are voting conservative". After Scott Brown settled down and departed from the initial teasing, he made a heck of an acceptance speech, didn't he? He didn't pull any punches on where he stands on dealing with terrorism or health care. I wonder if he wrote his own material.

    Yeah, thanks a bunch...

He ran against health care and is now making statements in favor of health care! Evidently he supported RomneyCare in Mass, but didn't like Obama's version of health care...

Kind've leads one to wonder what his real stance on the 2nd Amendment is, doesn't it?

He certainly appears to be just another POS Republican who is pretty much indistinguishable from the run-of-the-mill POS Democrat.

People don't like to be meddled with. We tell them what to do, what to think, don't run, don't walk. We're in their homes and in their heads and we haven't the right. We're meddlesome.--River Tam
