According to these docs, the LEO's were clearly out of line.

I can't believe what the LEO said.

"If we get a call you will be detained until we can determine your intent." WTF

Whats next? Detain people walking down the street to determine their intent?

Oh you don't know the whole story, the guy that was interviewed (a friend) was what I would call stalked. We were at a TEA party when a BC police officer walked up behind him and laid hands on him,,, Yeah I was there n saw it all... Real bad idea, then the police officer tried verbally to get him to leave, but Steve was cool and just explained about OC the law's pertaining to and the Officer in his ignorance well....

This ended up with Steve calling the city attorneys office, Police chief, and him ending up at several city counsel meetings (at which several pro gunners sit on), multiple conversations with the city attorneys office and a written agreement (for him to not pursue any litigation against the city police) that they would re train the BCPD in OC laws...

Now fast forward to this and there sits the Police Chief opening them up for a law suit for the first individual they chose to stop.....

BTY this is also the same guy that said on a TV interviews just a little over 2 years ago.... "All police officers are expected to write a minimum of two citations a day, now this is in no way a quota but if they do not they will be under threat of disciplinary action"... if it walks like, and quacks like.... yes he got in trouble for that one too...
