went to my parents and watched it with them when it aired. very educational to say the least. history for sure needs to be studied in order for it not to be repeated... or allowed by we the people for it to be repeated. I was half way expecting the plug to get pulled half way through the show.

not what they teach in school, and all the kids are wraring chea,moa and ussr and hammer and scickel t-shirts! where are the parrents of these kids? i took mine on a tour of the east german border to show them communism in action. we had a house we used as a check point, they took a chainsaw and cut a house into so they could run the fence through the middle!

Sadly, not only is history being misrepresented in history books, for starters as is the case with the Civil War, Abraham Lincoln, Theodore Roosevelt, Woodrow Wilson, Franklin Roosevelt, JFK & Lyndon Johnson; but we as a nation remain ignorant & A.D.D. about history in general, even recent history...
I hope that Glenn Beck's endeavor serves as a wake-up call...
While I like Bill O'Reilly, Sean Hannity, and others at fox news I think Glenn Beck is the best of the best when it comes to fox news... and probably the most conservative guy in the media bar none...

I just watched the program late last nite (had recorded it). All I can say is "WOW". The underlying message, of course, is that murder and genocide are the primary tools of the socialist/communist regime. Hopefully, Beck will go on to showcase the hatred and vitriol spewed by "progressives" in our society today and let the viewer draw his/her own conclusions. That'll cause an uproar! Looking forward to it.

A great show? Of course. But for all of us it was nothing new. Anyone who bothers to study history already knew these things. I just hope other people were intrigued enough to watch and that maybe some people had their eyes opened.
My 14 year old twins already knew these things because I taught them from a very early age. I just wished more people bothered to teach their kids correct history and not some political correct version of history. Or even worse some completely fabricated version of history.

Unfortunately, too many parents don't take their responsibilities seriously and let TV and/or video games raise their children. When young people, interviewed on the street by Fox News, don't know the name of our current Vice President or the Speaker of the House but immediately have the answer to which movie star is married to whom, it gives one pause. If they aren't in tune with current events, how can they possibly know much about the history of the USA? What's really troubling is that these young people are "the future of our country".Of course, I take comfort in the knowledge that the children of Conservative Patriots ARE being taught about the Constitution and our Constitutional Republic and, just like their parents, their lives will have a positive impact on our nation!
