I heard on the radio a direct statement from the "Tea Party Movement." They said that they will not endorse a candidate. The candidates will endorse the Tea Party Movement.

It seems that this whole debate is exactly what the Tea Party Movement was looking to avoid. Of course, they got sucked into the business as usual situation. In all honesty, it looks like Palin and the Republicans would like to get the votes of those who follow the Tea Party Movement philosophy without actually obeying what the Tea Party Movement is all about.

This is what the divide is about. It's about trying to claim a position without following through with action.

Do us all a favor, stop buying into the media & internet spin, listen to Sarah Palin's speech objectively in its entirety and form your own opinion based on that...

Having watched the speech in its entirety, in my view NOTHING she said was out of line or derogatory...

Hey Hey now, I am posting from conservative websites, because I know better than link ultra-liberal media websites. You guys already scorned me from doing that, so I know!! The probliem I have with Palin is that she can't serve both masters, is she truly for the tea party movement or just another Republican? Business as usual??

I am going to take your advice and watch and listen to all of her speeches!! Don't get me wrong, I believe she is for our gun rights, no complaints on that!!

I've said this before and I'll say it again. The Republican party no longer exists. The Democrats have become Socialists, and the Republicans have become Democrats.

I truly fear the reality is worse than you state.

Notice that Harry S Truman and John F Kennedy would be to the right of many, perhaps most, of today's Republicans...

Listen to the Entire Speech get the whole thing in context...

Please do your due diligence research before posting someone else's unjustified, Anti-Sarah Palin Rant...

We are starting to think you are a forum infiltrating troll here...

You have posted two obviously intentional Anti-Sarah Palin ranting threads in as many days, based on her same TEA Party speech...

Troll??? I am a gun owner and a proud NRA member, do you want to see pictures?? I've listened to her entire speech and read the reports from BOTH sides, all saying the EXACT same thing I posted and provided links to. Ron Paul's website Palin: Let's Merge The Tea Party And GOP! | Ron Paul 2012 | Campaign for Liberty at the Daily Paul is reporting? It's all lies, then post a link disputing it!

I saw her speech and wanted to get to the bottom of this, that is why I started the thread to get some opinions and feedback.

Troll?? Is that the way you treat your fellow gun owner?? No wonder our movement to preserve our right to bear arms is in jeopardy!! Berating another 2ad. supporter by name calling is not nice and I bet the anti-gun crowd would find it amusing. Let me tell you something there are many independent and liberal gun owners on this site and in the country. But it appears you want to chase them away and believe me, guys like you are doing a good job at it.

You guys think I am troll?? Do you want me to stop posting on this forum and start posting on the Brady Campaign's website?? Because I am thinking that some people on this board is little too radical and borderline dangerous. Now that's a rant!

Apparently you insist on being intentionally obtuse...

More of the actions of a troll...

IF You don't want to be labeled a troll stop acting like one...

    Expect to be challenged...

You can Start by being objective & doing your own due diligence research first...
And not posting b.s. out-of-context snippets spun into something they are not propagated among biased forum infiltrators of the blogosphere...

Starting a thread titled Sarah Palin thows the Tea Party under the bus is an antagonist tactic of a troll; if you truly want to start a thread questioning the actions of the most popular member of the Conservative Movement in some 3 decades you would do well to tread more lightly; because No True Conservative Actually Believes That Sarah Palin is Not On Our Side...
Or that she is a RINO...

Saying your a member of the NRA does not give you or anybody else credibility on that alone...
Both the NRA and members of the NRA have a LONG history of selling out the second amendment...
Ronald Reagan & Mitt Romney were both firearm owners & members of the NRA and both sold out the Constitution & Second Amendment...

What do you think of this politician?
    http://www.keepandbeararms.com/NewsA...sp?cmd=SHOWTOP

NRA Supporting Gun Control & Second Amendment Infringements Since 1871...
    http://www.keepandbeararms.com/infor...em.asp?ID=3247

Sarah Palin has yet to perform a single unconstitutional action...
That alone make her more conservative then Ronald Reagan the so-called uber conservative...

AND you keep posting out of context snippets Intentionally casting Sarah Palin in a negative light; she IS on our side for Christs sake...

No matter how many times you post a out-of-context statement with somebody else's spin on it does not make it any more credible to anybody with over a double digit i.q....

your daily paul link goes back to your same bogus primary source citation that NEVER HAPPENED...

Our Right to Keep & Bear Arms is in jeopardy because people whom claim to be true second amendment supporters think Ronald Reagan was more conservative then Sarah Palin and was a bigger supporter of the Second Amendment then she is...

FORGET the Party B.S. the fact is the majority of the Tea Party Members are Republicans and this election iteration they will support exponentially more Republicans then another party; WHY? because they CAN beat the Democratic Incumbents in November...
They like Sarah Palin have been & will be endorsing the most conservative candidates from any party that CAN WIN...

Like it or not that is going to be predominately a "D" or "R" endorsement...
Heavily favoring the Republicans and the Tea Party would do well to at some-level "merge" with the Republicans/GOP efforts IF we want to take back Congress this year...

Sarah Palin has energized the Conservative Movement more then any candidate in recent history and for all your spinning and attempts to cast her in a negative light; The Tea Party is behind her...

As for your latest "merge", et.al. out of context quotes (leading back to the same bogus non-existent tea party primary source) to attempt to cast Sarah Palin in a negative light...

    Thursday January 28th, 2010:

VAN SUSTEREN: All right, two parts to the question. One is, do you intend to come here and speak? I know that there has -- at least, Michele Bachmann, I think, of Minnesota, has dropped out, as well as the congresswoman from the state of Tennessee. Do you intend to speak? And there's the controversy about you getting paid. What's your thought?
PALIN: Oh, you betcha I'm going to be there. I'm going to speak there because there are people traveling from many miles away to hear what that tea party movement is all about and what that message is that should be received by our politicians in Washington. I'm honored to get to be there.
I won't personally gain from being there. The speaker's fee will go right back into the cause. I'll be able to donate it to people and to events, those things that I believe in that will help perpetuate the message, the message being, Government, you have constitutional limits. You better start abiding by them.
VAN SUSTEREN: All right, in terms of the tea party movement, is it likely to create the issue that happened in '92 with Ross Perot and President Bush, or will it merge with the Republican Party? And how do you see that happening?
PALIN: They need to merge. Definitely, they need to merge. I think those who are wanting the divisions and the divisiveness and the controversy -- those are the ones who don't believe in the message. And they're the ones, I think, stirring it up. We need to ignore that and we need to forge ahead with a cohesive message. It's a common sense message. It, again, is, Government, limit yourself so that the private sector, our families, free individuals can grow and thrive and prosper and enjoy America's freedom!

As you can see & read NOTHING Sarah Palin actually said in context can be intellectually & honestly spun into what you & others are trying to propagate...

Nothing but harm can come to the conservative cause by destroying Sarah Palin in this intellectually dishonest manner...

The purpose of this thread is to debate and discuss the article that is being reported by practically every news source out there. I have absolute nothing against Sarah Palin, she stands for my right to bear arms, strong proactive government, amongst other things. So when I see reports from major sources stating that she flip/flops on issues, I WANT TO DISCUSS IT!! And the best way is to post it on this thread! Doing some due-diligence uncovered the interview with Sarah Palin, stating that she made a mistake during the Katie Couric interview and that of course she reads magazines and newspapers like the Wall Street Journal, Newsmax and others. I posted this video on another thread.
YouTube- Governor Palin on Hannity Part 6 (Foxnews Nov 18 2009).avi

I will admit that many news sources, politicians and others are against Palin, even by attacking her disabled son. If I post an article, trust me I've done my due-diligence, I don't post non-sense. But, I won't purely accept it as pure fact, because if I did, I would not have posted this thread, waiting for replys, and just believe what I've read and left it at that!! But, since there were no other media refuting that CBS article, I threw it on this board to hear what my fellow posters have to say! Was the thread title sensational ABSOULUTELY!! It get's reader's EYES WIDE OPEN!

Bohemian, your post was well thought out and I look forward to future debates as it arrises.

I will agree to disagree that to-date you have done your due diligence research before posting an inflammatory thread such as the two in-question...

One thread would have been sufficient...

Two threads in as many days, with the apparent sole intent by yourself to cast Sarah Palin in a negative light based solely on her Tea Party speech...

Additionally, not one single link with an applicable quote in context from a primary source(s); gives preponderance that you are intentionally trying to cast Sarah Palin in a negative light with no justification...

Instead of thread(s) with a title that appears to be a statement of fact like Sarah Palin throws the tea party under the bus...
Or the Tea Party slams Sarah Palin, neither of which actually happened, by the farthest stretch of the imagination...

A more apropos title(s) would have been Did Sarah Palin throw the Tea Party under the bus or did the Tea Party slam Sarah Palin?; Here is what x, y, and z source(s) are saying, is there any validity to it?
Further, you have unable to refute what they are saying thus far...

Moreover, can anybody provide something compelling to the contrary?

Sensationalism is a common troll tactic...

    Its superfluous, plain & simple...
    Nuff said...
