The obama plan sucks. However, I would give everything I own, to get my loved one back. I don't want anyone else to lose a loved one. Lack of medical care is a personal thing with me.

Tricare is/was factored into my service pay, so not free...

I don't know who you are trying to kid; NOBODY in this Country has ever died because they could not get medical care; anybody Citizen or not can walk into any emergency room and get free care; NOBODY can be turned away because of an inability to pay...
I can pull up the Federal Law if you like in my well-deserved copious free time you are intent on belittling...

And personally if I did not have tricare and the situation were different; if I had a choice between making my neighbor pay for my health care or having none I would take none even if it meant my death.

The fact is in other countries such as Mexico you can drop dead on the hospital steps if you do not have cash in hand...

Charity should never be compulsory; St. Judes hospital is one of the best Cancer Treatment Hospitals in the Country and NOBODY is ever turned away because of an inability to pay and they are 100% Privately Funded by donations...

What you don't fundamentally understand or are incapable of grasping is...

Its about the Constitution plain & simple...
And what somebody obviously did not teach you early in life...

Bohem, what is your major malfunction? If you don't have the money, all private hospitals will refer you to the county hospital. The wait at that location can be lengthy. After your wait, what seems forever, you are minimally treated, then you are sent a statement asking for payment. Nothing is free. If you are on some type of medical coverage, then you are taken care of financially.

I am not going to get into specific details about my situation, but I can assure you, you have no F'ing idea what you are talking about. You can pull up all the posters, all the federal law you want. I think most of your ideas originate in Uranus.

All I know is, the lack of medical care cost me the most important person in my life. I can't put a price on a loved ones life. I know you can.

Very soon, another family will not have to suffer because of people who think like you.

IF you actually lost somebody for something remotely resembling what you describe I am sorry for your loss...

I suspect that it was due to misinformation as to what is already available...

Getting back to not knowing what I am talking about; its pretty hard to deny existing Federal Law on the books for decades and the primary reason why California for example is giving out IOU's for State Tax Returns & IOU's for paychecks to State Employees...
Because the Illegal Aliens are using the emergency rooms for their primary care facility's...

Here is a recent experience one of my sisters had with that existing Federal Law you seem to be in denial about and do not fundamentally understand how it works...

My sister that I mention has had HIV for about 15 years now, the guy that gave it to her killed himself when he found out he had it...
That is how she found out she might have it, which she did...

After a few years she was having trouble with the medication they were giving her; so they put her on a 1/2 dosage of a experimental medication that was available for 7 days; on the 7th day she collapsed at a mall while x-mas shopping...
She was taken to the emergency room of the nearest private hospital and put in ICU because of her allergic reaction to the medicine; she spent 4 months in the hospital & almost died but they kept her until she was well-enough to go home...
They eventually found out she had Stevens-Johnson Syndrome a very rare condition...
Did I fail to mention that she had no insurance?
Was not on Social-Security, Medicaid or Medicare?
And had no means to pay for any care?

This was in Phoenix, Arizona one of the largest cities in the United States...

My other siblings & I helped pay for the bills that followed...
Voluntarily, Not Compulsory...
