With ObamaCare likely to pass, will it give Obama the infusion of courage he needs to take the next steps in going down his to-do list? Somewhere on that list is the 2A, and if he dares to take that away from We The People, I think this may usher in Civil War II.

Given what this is costing the Democrats--I'm wondering which way they will go. Many states are contesting it before SCOTUS -- if it's struck down I don't believe it can be forced through Congress again. If it survives the court challenge, it may embolden the statists. If found unConstitutional, we may be in for a reprieve; unfortunately, that means most will believe we've won and no further action is needed. I'm afraid the 'sissyfication' of the US has gone too far for massive civil disobedience. Modern Americans whine and complain then go back to their chosen entertainment and substance.

If there is going to be positive change, it will be led and paid for by a strong willed minority.

With a trillion + deficit to pay for his free healthcare for everybody except those who can afford it, there won't be any money left to fund putdown of any civil war.

I talked to a 80 year old retired Air Force Col over the weekend. The old crusty fighter type guy most of us would love to talk to and he brought up a great point. This country already survived a Jimmy Carter liberal president and we'll survive this one as well. I was 10 when Carter lost office so I don't remember anything about it but from what he says it's pretty much the same thing different agenda, both liberal. We'll get through this but we have to work harder then we should for our way of life to survive.

I think his next step will be "immigration reform" which is just a fancy way of saying blanket amnesty. If this happens we are definitely in trouble, especially if now illegal immigrants get the vote. With the heath care bill passing the road to socialism has started.

Sounds OK, should is be gold or silver? How can we get back to this? Can we get stores to start taking gold and silver coins as currency? I'm pretty sure States can legally mint metal based currency......

First thing that needs to be done is repeal the Federal Reserve Act. With the kind of traitors we have in office good luck on that happening.

Well, I'd have to say that my 87 year-old father-in-law, WWII combat Vet, disagrees that this is just another liberal "Jimmy Carter" presidency. He feels, as I do, that this is an assault on the American people and the Constitution, and that the WH is inhabitated by socialists bent on taking over the country.

Agreed that this is no time for complacency.
