No. However, I contend that forcing them to pay 400-900 dollars/ month for an insurance policy they already cannot afford and allowing the government to choose who the doctors are who see these poor unfortunate people is not the answer. Under this new plan, if someone finds that they cannot afford this new government run plan ,they will be guilty of a crime and fined. This is Communism at its very core.

$400. is quite high for part time, or student workers. $900 is way out of line. I think these figures are probably not exact.
Does this mean that social security, income taxes, medicare are communist also? When I was working I paid medical insurance, taxes, social security, and medicare tax. Thousands of dollars each year. Does that make me a communist?
Right now, there are under insured people suffering. The poor folks just show up at the ER for treatment. Taxpayers pickup the tab. End of story. What about the workers without health insurance? I knew one quite well, he had leg pain. Couldn't afford to go in. Few days later, blood clot. He is dead. He worked, no medical insurance.
I seen commercials on the TV before the vote. Asking everyone to call their member of congress. Any fool could see these ads were paid for by the HMO's.

Similar to rooting through dirty laundry to find something you could possiblly wear again in a pinch without doing a load of wash, there are a few good ideas in the bill, but you will have to dig past all that soiled underwear to find those mostly clean-looking socks!

The pre-existing condition info sounds good, but what about the other 2400 pages of the bill?

There's even a section on doctor assisted suicide. Nobama didn't have that one is his talking points, 'eh ?!
And at what price?
The real kicker is that apparently the Pro-bill folks have said that something like 129 people will die per day if they don't change healthcare. What they didn't tell you is that the 30+ million that are reportedly at risk due to no insurance coverage won't be getting covered until 2014! Assuming the daily death count above, that comes to around 180,000 dead people waiting until 2014 for the government to take care of them......the big liberal government that supposedly cares!

And the cover-all piece for this is a medicaid expansion.....so don't believe a word of it when they claim that people won't be flocking to hospital ERs for care, because it's mighty difficult to find physicians now who will take medicaid, even before the medicaid roles are increased by millions!
