State Senate Approves Controversial Gun Law

The measure would allow licensed gun owners to carry firearms onto college campuses and into churches and bars. And from my understanding this bill would allow Georgia citizens to be able to go into a lot of other places that were off limits before,after is all said and done the only places off limits would be jails,prisons and courthouses.

You will be able to go into a bar as long as you have permission from the owner,here is a quotation from the bill(8) In a bar, unless the owner of the bar permits the carrying of weapons or long guns by license holders; And there is a provision to allow carry in church,here is a quotation from the bill,(6) In a place of worship, unless the presiding official of the place of worship permits the carrying of weapons or long guns by all or designated license holders;.

After careful rereading of the bill I must agree with you concerning bars.
