How can you expect this country to recover from the worse recession it has ever faced with expenses like this?They can no longer deduct from their taxes the subsidies paid by the federal government for retiree drug benefits. Caterpillar, Deere and a handful of other big U.S. companies including Boeing Co (BA.N), Verizon Communications Inc (VZ.N), and Xerox Corp (XRX.N) had for months opposed that change.
