Live in New Jersey, have ccw permits for FLA, New Hampshire and Maine. will
be traveling to Maine in the next few months. I have heard that traveling via
Mass. is a no no as they do not honor any Federal Interstate Laws for gun transportation even if weapon is locked in trunk. Anyone know if this is true
and if so I think I would have to go via New York State from New Jersey. Any
input appreciated.
Here is a link to the MA law concerning non-residents.

One might infer that you would be safe as long as it is locked up in the trunk. Also, print out and carry a copy of the federal interstate travel law concerning firearms.
Cheers

Yes you can travel thru Massachusetts with a weapon, just pray that you're not stopped
make sure if you don't have a Mass non-Resident permit that your weapon is unloaded, seperate from ammo, and is locked in a box or the trunk or anywhere far from your person.
You can however get a Mass Non-Resident LTC, its cost is $100 per year
