Does anyone know of any legalities or problems for having a legal prescription for medical marijuana while owning firearms?

Medical marijuana is non-existent.
It is a ploy for the stoners to legally get high.

I disagree, it has some postitve uses. Stoners are going to smoke it no matter what.
Great way to raise some tax money.
However, it is still marijuana. I suggest treating the same as drugs, or booze. Avoid mixing with firearms.

Actually the Obama administration has ordered the DEA and other Federal agencies to STOP enforcing the Federal laws that were overiding the State laws voters passed. So it is legal, depending on your state, such as CA, CO and NV to name a few. So I asked Political Commentator Jon Ralston from CBS news and his answer was no legalities or problems for having a MMP and a CCW

Vote NO on medical marijuana.
I would be real sure I understood how the law in your area treated being under the influence while you had the weapon on your person (and of course if you had to use it) and whether they would test for being UI while on MJ.
Reality, DEAL with IT!
I'd like a lid of the Acapulco Gold and two boxes of .45s, please. Oh, and throw in a case of beer and a fifth of Jack, we're having a party. It's all for medical purposes, you know, as I'm pretty stressed and getting whacked out and blowing off some rounds at the range really relaxes me.

I would not advocate the use of medical marijuana or alcohol while using or in posession of a firearm. Just my opinion. As far as it's medical use, I'd have questions about it's effectiveness. I've been through radiation therapy for cancer, was given the pill version to control the effects, and it was not worth anything.
