A stabe and reliable nuclear deterrent is the basis for international military and economic cooperation. It provides the incentive for rogue states like Iran and North Korea to comply. It has been the cornerstone of our foreign policy since the end of WWII.

Excuse me Locked but an oxymoron is when you use the words Iran, N. Korea, incentives, and comply in the same sentence. I do not know about N. Korea, who just seem to me complete maniacs with seemingly no reason for anything other than, I assume, extortion of $$ from the US, but Iran has only one thing in mind--extermination of Israel. It seems with everything going on these days in the mideast, only Israel understands Iran, understands Syria, understands the palestinians, and understands this lame excuse for a flotilla of "humanitarian" aid--it is all about the destruction of Israel--period, end of story. You can talk to these people but in the end you might as well try to fill the ocean with your spit. In the case of the flotilla, if they are so concerned that the"humanitarian aid" reach gaza, then they should be willing to allow inspection of said "humanitarian" goods--but that is not the case. Interestingly, when we blockaded Cuba (by order of the President of the US) without a hint of allowing ships thru upon inspection, it was perfectly OK with most of the world and our citizenry. Unfortunately, the resident in the whitehouse hasn't a clue as he bows and apologizes and denigrates the US, and condemns Israel's legitimate rights, as he "acts stupidly".

A puppet .How could a jerk as inexperienced as he beat the Clinton machine and win the presidency ,if he did not have the backing and expertise of a cabal the likes of Soros and Davis. The real answer to your question is Obama is a communist and wants to see the downfall of this country and everything it stands for.
HE got elected on a wave of diversity, 92% of one group voted for him( if the group was white it would have been called voting because of race). Now those who voted for HOPE and CHANGE and swallowed his BS never asked "what kind of change are you talking about".
