Well, I don't know, about the "Liberal" accusation, anyway...

We have the United Negro College Fund, for example...but there's no "United Navajo College Fund", for example, or "Indian" college fund. There's not even a United WOMEN'S College Fund. Liberalism should embrace all of these, and more, if it were truly 'Liberal' and interested in the well-being of all those within their purview.

So the answer seems to be that either Liberalism is selective with respect to whose Rights it elects to champion, selecting predominantly Black interests at the indifference of others (American Indians, Women, etc.), or that it's not Liberalism at all, but racism (in the sense that it's racially-focused).

Current vogue tends to have a Mexican focus, and we'll see where that leads. I received this e-mail today, which began...

From a spectator's point of view, it's interesting to watch. From a practical point of view, these things affect all of us, every day. I liked the way the gentleman in the video measured what he found against the philosophy of Dr. King. I wonder how he would view all this today?

If the forum was only for Democrats or only for Republicans then then I have no problem with restricting the forum. If the forum was supposed to be for the voters to hear candidates regardless of party then keeping any out because of pigmentation or plumbing was STUPID. That's a code word, you know conservatives use code words, RACIST = STUPID.

I liked the last speaker, though, he made a lot of sense.
