I don't know much about either of the cantidates in that race since I am in a different district but my congressmen, Jim Clyburn, again made a total arse of himself with his comments about that there is no way an unemployed ex-serviceman could have come up with the $10,000 filing fee and is calling for a federal investigation of it.

It seems that Clyburn, like Obama want to control who gets to run in any election. For all of you that think the Ciivl War is over, the 6th District in SC was realigned by the feds to include Clyburn's home even if it meant having to travel I-20 for 60 miles to include and area that wasn't even close to the old district. He was hand picked to be our rep. by the feds so he knows all about picking who gets to be elected rather than the people.

It's the unkown thing that I do not care for. If Greene is to make a run for the Senate nows his chance to clear the air about himself. I would be more forgiving and open to a person who has a felony and explains himself then I would be to someone who hire's lawyers to keep his personal history closed to the public.

I am not sure what the air is to clear about him and it sound to me like the Democratic party in SCh has a lot of 'plainin'to do as Ricky used to say to Lucy. First the felony that Greene is charged with is that he showed an 18 year old girl some porn on the Internet and then said how about we go to your dorm room. There has to be some more to this but so far this is all that has come out from either the law or the girl. All you young fellows better take care showing your girlfriends some porno to get the night off to a good start.

As for the Democratic primary voting you need to read this article about the vote counting. I sure sounds like someone tired to rig the voting and screwed up.

In Spartanburg County, Ludwig said there are 25 precincts in which Greene received more votes than were actually cast and 50 other precincts where votes appeared to be missing from the final count.

“In only two of 88 precincts, do the number of votes Greene got plus the number we got equal the total cast,” Ludwig said.

Greene also racked up a 75 percent or greater margin in one-seventh of all precincts statewide, a mark that Ludwig notes is even difficult for an incumbent to reach.

We all know that the voting machines are ususally rigged but it sure sounds like someone left out a line of code somewhere in the counting program. To top it off the Democratic party has already certified Greene as their cantidate to head off any actual investigation into any problems with the vote counting process. They didn't figure that Rawl had much of a chance to start with so now they can use that money on other races. Normally findings such as the ones already pointed out would trigger a Federal investigation into voting irregularities but Clyburn and Obama are not going to do anything other than claim that the Republicans set them up and hide the actual facts.

Ok, just a few thoughts:
1.) The DNC and GOP, in SC, are such a tight Knit clique that anyone from the outside rarely has a chance to embed him/her self without the "Vetting Process" that is being talked about. Another dang thing....Who gave these people the right to Vet anyone? If you don't cut the "ESTABLISHED" card, you don't get in? This type of thinking is what got us here in the first place.
2.) Not a word is being said about anyone that has spent millions of dollars in an election for a 100 Grand a year job. But this guy spends 10 Grand and maybe he's in........doubtful with the strength of DeMint, a true conservative but the DNC can't stand it.
3.) Any other individuals in Congress/Senate that have been charged with a Felony? Any convicted? Is the man not innocent until ajudicated by a jury of his peers?
4.) Bass Ackwards State that I live in...........The only thing missing from this story, especially since this is a SC story, is the BIG "R" Racism.

Before I would think that he is a Republican plant I would think that he may be a Democrat plant. The Dems knew that Rawl had little chance in November and the bigger prize for them is the Governors office which is going to be a very expensive and muddy process. Rather than having to split focus just put a plant in the primary, save all the money that would be spent on both the primary and general elections, rig the voting machines to be sure the plant wins and blame it all on the Republicans. Sounds like a perfect plan to me and with Lyburn's involvement in this already, notice the only accusation is where he got the filing fee, he can make sure that the Feds do not get involved in finding out who rigged the voting machines. Dirty politics at its best and now the Dems can go after Haley without worrying about the Senate race.
