It seems they are divided and the more emotional and non-factual agreements eventually gets rooted out. Even though it may be hard to read, more rational minds, thoughts, and evidence seems to eventually prevail.

South Carolina (at least the ones around me) are responding to the incident in Arizona by trying to get more legal gun carrying owners out in the public SC H3292. More legal guns in public should be the true response...
